This custom Fire and Water feature was built for Cafe Vino in Denver Colorado.  The upper bowls have been drilled at the bottom, allowing the water to rain down upon holding tank which then spins the water around; before getting pumped back to the top.

The water tank is equipped with lighting along the upper edge and is mounted from the bottom.

The top fire bowl can be raised or lowered to increase or decrease the amount of white noise by the  water.

The fire pit below is going to be installed in Sacramento for the Yard Crashers/ DIY/ HGTV show.  Below is the catch basin.

Below the top panel and fire and water bowls are in place.  Along with the stainless steel ring and some Bronze base glass.

We ignite the burner system and activate the water pump.

We created a card board mock-up to replicate its future table top.  This also conceals the lights and gives us a good idea of what it will ultimately look like.

Lastly, we add some food coloring to the water for further effect.

To show our customer some further design options we changed the water color to Red and switched the FireGlass to Starfire Base Glass

We consulted with Brett Parks from Indiana on his custom backyard water/ fire pit.  The picture on the left is his original concept drawing.  And the one on the right is of course the actual beginnings of the fire pit.

The water jets and water tank are put in place.

Parks 2 Parks 3

Due to the position of the water jets we create a custom stainless steel burner ring to accommodate this particular design direction.  Stack a few more pavers and we then proceed to test it.

Lava rock is then poured in to serve as filler.

The FireGlass selection consist of Clear Base Glass, E.D Scarlett Diamonds, and E.D. Clear Diamonds.

This custom fire and water feature was built for Brian Johnson in Nebraska.  Like previous custom jobs Brian requested the installation of a light system; which you can see installed around the perimeter of the pan.

A center-less stainless steel ring is ideal for this job and once properly installed we pour a few pounds of Starfire Base Glass.

The hoses which return the water to the lower tank can also be above the water line creating a trickling water noise. This can be adjusted to your desire.

Now for the fire!

We cut a pattern to place over the edges of the holding pan to get an idea of what the table top will look like.

The next Water Over Fire Feature can be made in any configuration, size or shape. We can install it in a table or leave it as a stand alone feature. What ever you like. This particular bowl is a spun aluminum 30" bowl with a 26" water ring and about 100 lbs of Multi Mix Base Glass. We added a few of our Terra Cotta FireBalls in the center.

The next fire table was built by Brian Johnson of Omaha Nebraska, very nice! We supplied the components and Brian did the hard part, the table.

We don't have the construction pictures but we do have the table finished. Add Bronze Base Glass and to pit with 1 lb of Ice Ice Ice Topper, you are done.  The blue is actually food coloring.
